What to Expect at Your Audition
The audition process is designed to assess your child’s vocal potential and place her in the choir level that best matches her skills. Auditions are relaxed and supportive, allowing singers to demonstrate their abilities in a positive environment.
For younger singers in grades 1–3, the audition focuses on pitch matching, rhythm, and range. Older singers may be asked to sing a prepared piece, sight-read, or demonstrate harmony skills. Regardless of experience level, our goal is to make the process enjoyable and encouraging.
Audition Steps
- Sign Up Online: Fill out the online audition form to schedule your child’s session.
- Help Them Prepare: No formal training is needed, but practicing a favourite song can boost their confidence.
- Attend the Audition: Your child will meet our team, showcase their abilities, and learn more about the choir.
